There is a whole slew of arguments American Christians appeal to in order to justify killing people they don’t know half a world away.
Open borders would destroy the American way! Or would it?
I want to deal with political unity. I’m not talking about as a voting block, but as a Gospel block.
However, in this incident I didn’t see heroes, villains, and victims. I didn’t see it from any of the usual agenda-driven story-lines. I chose, intentionally, to ignore them and instead focus on Christ.
A killer in a church killed. Was this an incident to celebrate or to mourn?
Should America build that wall? Should libertarians support it? And what about Christians?
I’m a dreamer. I dream of a world where we beat swords into plowshares, lions frolic with lambs and nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.
Jesus knew His kingdom was not going to come to pass through the use of political power. His kingdom is based solely on divine power that comes through worshiping and serving God alone.
This should lay to rest once and for all the silly notion that gun control is about ending gun violence.
